Novartis provides financial support for the following types of projects:
- Raising public awareness on health issues such as prevention, early diagnosis, healthy lifestyle, - improving the provision of health care in the Czech Republic - training programs aimed at healthcare professionals, healthcare providers, payers, public officials and the public
Support for all of the above activities is always in accordance with applicable laws, local and international ethical standards (ie AIFP, EFPIA codes) and all Novartis internal regulations.
The programs supported in the grant management must always be transparent. Under no circumstances may the promotion be offered, promised or made as an incentive or reward for past, present or future willingness to prescribe, recommend or use the products or services sold or provided by Novartis s.r.o. or as an attempt to obtain or maintain a trade or any other business advantage for Novartis s.r.o.
Grants may be awarded only to certified charities or other non-profit / governmental organizations set up for research, medical assistance, education or charitable work.
The provided funds can not be used retroactively for the already implemented activities.

Required documents: 1. a request with a clear specification - what is required if it is a financial or material grant for which the funds will be used 2. supporting materials (calculations, budgets, photographs or pictures) 3. extract from the Commercial Register, statutes or founding documents 4. annual report 5. if Novartis provided the funds in the previous period - a report detailing their use
All applications received will be discussed and evaluated by the Grant Commission, in which each Novartis division is represented. All feedback will be provided to all applicants. Novartis may request or refine the application at any time during the grant process.
Novartis has the right to disclose grant data at any time, including the name of the donor, its purpose, and the amount provided.
Submitting an application does not constitute a right to provide a gift.
